Joseph Brown- President, CBI- Founder & Author, Harm Reduction Anonymous

Alvin Lagura — Amazing Friend and Former Co-Worker

These two worked tirelessly on this website in the spirit of service. We wanted to change Customboyz Inc. from a car club that handed out backpacks to youth into a vehicle that carried a message of hope. We put a lot of love and care into building the site, and Joseph was so grateful to have Alvin working side by side with him on the site and the logistics behind the scenes—including helping format our books into eBooks to extend our reach. What an incredible year it has been as CBI had the opportunity to soar with Harm Reduction Anonymous. When the disease of addiction was running through our neighborhood along U.S. 19 and State Road 52 in Port Richey and Hudson, we spent the last year in the trenches with the people—meeting them where they are and providing light to guide them back if they were ready to go. Together, our efforts touched countless lives, gathering over 4,000 signatures and providing roughly 400 unique individuals with vital drop-in services ranging from peer support to low-barrier food and clothing. We wouldn't have reached so many people without Alvin's dedication, and we are profoundly grateful for everything built and achieved together.
